I have read the full curriculum description and asked any questions needed to assure this is the right program for me. I understand that this is not a doula certification program, and it does not train me to become a midwife or other primary care professional.
Rather, it is a holistic training program for those who desire to become perinatal professionals that can assist in holistic ways, throughout the perinatal window. I understand that if I am not already a primary care provider, I will be learning to work as an adjunct to primary care professionals such as Midwives and OBs, and to refer out anytime referral is needed.
